History
Entrepreneurial excellence since 1958 and for ever
The family company started in 1958, when brothers Anne-Jans and Hanny Oosterbaan founded Transport Vooruit for the international transport of fresh and frozen fish from Breskens in the Netherlands.
When son Jan-Pieter Oosterbaan Sr. and his wife Linda took over, achieving expansive growth and numerous M&As, the family company grew into one of Europe’s leaders, dominating the seafood logistics industry for more than 30 years.
Today
Strong shareholder at any tide
After the buy-out of the family company in 2009, Jan-Pieter Sr. and his son Niels Oosterbaan established Oosterbaan Investment Group, with a focus on capital growth, supported by long-term minority investments.
Today Oosterbaan Investment Group is a private, non-listed, independent holding that pursues a long-term and diversified investment strategy.
